My best friend calls me his son, precious son, stuff like that. i am kind of weirded out a bit by it we are the exact same age but dont really mind it. i actually kind of like him more then a friend thats why i dont like him calling me son but dont know what to do about it.

    My friends and I do that. It's pretty common where I live between close friends. I'm the 'mom' in our little group. It usually just means that I'm the more calm and responsible one

    My brother used to call some of his friends his sons. It was the equivalent to him calling someone a bro.
