Is it normal for your tongue to itch?

My tongue itches often. And I scratch it with my finger. My best friend says it's repulsive while everyone else seems unbothered. Does anybody elses tongue itch a lot?

    If its not a vitamin deficiency, you need antihistamines, you are obviously allergic to something. :)

    It is normal if you are low on vitamin B12. It happened to me. I used to scratch my tongue with my teeth. Get your vitamins checked out.

    Ya, but that's when I eat walnuts cause I'm allergic to them.
