is it normal for your step mother to hind cupcakes? i personally think its not, but my dad says it is? he bought the cupcakes but she still hid them and she didn't even tell my dad where she hid them, so his children can't eat them!
tbh, i think that's mean. cupcakes should be for everybody. and i'm assuming by "hind" you meant "hide" lol. hines ward!
My very thin mother does that with snacks and candies. My entire family has become accustomed to it haha.
I think it is just mean. If she wanted them for herself then they should not have paraded the cupcakes in front of the kids & then deny giving any. Don't they know how to share? Petty and mean.
She's probably used to having things "paraded" in front of her only for the kids to eat them all before she gets a chance to have any. People shouldn't have to share absolutely everything, and kids need to learn that just because they see something doesn't mean they can have it.
If your dad's OK with it then it's normal. My mother used to do things like that too, except she'd lie to us and claim she was hiding them from herself so she wouldn't eat them all (yeah like that made sense, if you wanted them hidden from you you'd ask someone else to hide them not hide them yourself so you're the only person who knows where they are). It sounds like at least your stepmother is being honest about why she's doing it.
And it really is perfectly reasonable for her to hide them, that's probably the only way she'll actually get any before her husband's children devour them all. It sounds like your dad understands this and doesn't mind her hiding them.
