Whenever I eat apples, my mouth gets all itchy uncomfortable. I've drunk apple juice and eaten apple pie before and no allergy. But when I eat the pure apple fruit my mouth gets all itchy.
Apples create allergic reactions in a relatively small percentage of people. Although it is considered a low allergy-incidence food, this fruit can produce oral allergy symptoms in people who are allergic to birch pollen. These individuals may experience sensitivities only to uncooked apples or only to apple skins.

It may just be the acid in them or the type of apples, it is often times the skin also, I know they feel fizzy to me (acid)
That sometimes happens to me when I eat pineapples. Not all the time though. Weird.
Do you peel your apples before eating them? If you don't peel them, make sure you wash them before eating them. Otherwise, your lips might tingle because of the insecticide.
Same thing happens to me, also with bannana's.
One time I went apple picking, fresh off of tree's and I had no problem with those.
It's normal in the sense that, we can tell that this may be an allergic reaction, but no normal to continue eating them. Does it happen with any other fruit? Peach? Tomato?
I think you're allergic to apples or the chemicals on them. Stop eating apples. If you do then you could make the allergy worsen. Always keep anti-histamines like benedryl on hand.

Sounds like you are allergic to apples, maybe just the non processed ones.
My mouth gets itchy when I eat certain foods too. Only for me it's when I eat hay, mosquitos and poison ivy.
