I came out to my friend a couple of days ago (both guys) and i told him that i like him. He said that he was 100% straight and that it was perfectly fine for me to be gay and he said that me liking him was a little weird. I asked him if it was alright if i touched him like rubbing his leg and he said that it was a little weird...
I started to rub his side when we were sitting together and he didnt do anything or even acknowledge it. I texted him later and he said it was "alright, but a little weird" is it normal for your "straight" friend to let you do this?

    i bet he just didn't know how to react to the situation. he was probably afraid it would offend you, make you feel unsupported, or ruin the friendship if he said it was too weird for you to touch him. saying "its alright but a little weird" is probably his way of politely dropping the hint that he's there for you as a friend but doesn't want you to touch him like that. sorry dude, he sounds like a good friend, but i don't think he will ever be anything more.

    He sounds like a great friend, sit down with him and say "if what I did made you feel uncomfortable, I understand and well yeah.. I'm sorry but don't feel scared to tell me, okay?" I had a similar problem with my friend :p

    Dont talk to him like that !! Ima bisexual female and i hav a boyfriend . But anyways to the one who wrote the question , he mite hav just been shocked and he sisnt want u to get mad so he let u but if he lets u do it alot and gets turned on then he mite be a little attracted to guys

    I think I should ask you how old are you and your friend? He could be in the stage of wanting to explore his sexuality and the first stages of his exploring brings him an awkward feeling. Thus, he said it's a little weird. First times are always awkward-especially sexual stuff. Him telling you that he's straight might be peer prssure and sooner or later, with all those hormones, he'llprobably give in. Are you willing to take a risk? Why not try to explore more with him, you might just find the end result into your favor. However, if my theory is wrong and you push it, you might lose a really cool friend. So, what's it gonna be?

      I kinda want... But at the same i dont think i should. We are on the same team and are actually going to be pretty close for another two years.. Including summer. But he also told me he once had gay thoughts haha but it was back in 5th grade and they just went away

        haha, see? in telemarketing that's what we call a buying signal. when you get one, you go put the sale in the bag. don't rush it though. control your pace. more like, follow his pace. here's a dirty idea, why not watch adult films together(i'm not being a good example, am I?). that's just a thought. I kinda have the same experience back at Junior year,my frriend and I were watching a movie that's got a lot of explicit scene, i went for it and he gave in. I didn't go all the way though because he was a close friend and it kinda felt weird. but that was me, you make your own killer history.
