Is it normal for your feet to get more stinky as you grow older?

I don't recall my feet ever being this stinky. Since I hit my 40's my feet are really stinky, like I can smell them when I take off my shoes every night, and I'm not putting them anywhere near my face. I wash and put on clean socks daily. I even put foot powder in my shoes. The only changes I can think of are that I pretty much wear the same shoes every day, and I wear those el-cheapo, polyester "novelty" socks with animals or designs on them.

I put deodorant on my feet. It really helps. I don't know why more people don't try that.

Wear shoes and cotton socks that "breathe". Use anti-fungal foot powder. Your feet may not smell because of fungus, but rather bacteria, anti-fungal foot powder takes care of both. Be sure to dry your feel completely (meaning between the toes as well) before putting on your socks and shoes because bacteria love to grow in damp places. Hopefully this takes care of your problem!

If your feet smell and your nose runs, you're built upside down!

Your butt gets more stinky too! Use some buttslut baby oil. I rub it all over my butt. It smells nice.

It's natural for the human body to change in a lot of different ways not only due to age, but also due to innumerable other factors (diet, environment, stress, etc). It's also natural for humans to have foot odor. I personally have never understood the American objection to healthy, unoffensive human smells, like clean sweat or mild foot odor. It's just a smell. Unless you have a fungal problem, I doubt your feet stink enough for anyone to care.
If you do dislike the smell, try to wear wool or cotton socks more than synthetics (wool is especially good because it doesn't hold moisture, and good wool, like SmartWool, is NOT itchy). You can find fun novelty-type socks in those materials too. I know because I wear them.
Also avoid shoes, i.e. go sockfooted around the house, take your shoes off under your desk at work, etc. Most shoes aren't very well-ventilated.

No. Your feet are just gross. Keep up the foot powder etc..

Uma Thurman's feet are so ugly. Did you ever see them? And they look nasty.

I don't think poster's feet are gross. Food odor is perfectly normal and rarely indicative of a health problem.

The shower floor must be kept very clean. It must be cleaned daily with Lysol. It's no different than the smelly swimming pool floors which are bacteria infested at the end of each family day swim. Gahh!

Anyways...you also try Epson salt soak - clean cloth and basin with 2 cups Epson & hot water. Perhaps you could have a beautiful woman bathe your feet...
