Is it normal for your family to be messy?

i really am embarrassed by my family.. they r good ppl but so messy and dont care about mess when ppl cme over.. i feel disgusting and come home and clean after work, so my boyfriend can come over.. has anybody else experienced this?

    well my parents are like tidy horders our house was always clean but full of clutter and i know a lot of homes and familys like that, now that i live on my own i can keep my house anyway i like so i usually keep it clean and clutter free so im sure when you move out you will feel a lot better :)
