Is it normal for your eyes to water when doing certain things?

My eyes tear up when I do certain things like drink soda, brushing teeth, and other things. Mu eyes tear up randomly too. I hate it when it happens in public because people think I'm a punk.

    my eyes tear up when i'm angry and sometimes after a really big sneeze. it's just an involuntary reaction. i'd say it's normal unless you legitimately start crying afterwards.

    I'd say it's quite normal. It does happen to several people I know. I get it when I'm taking a walk with the wind coming from the opposite direction...hits my eyes and it pours. When I'm yawning and when I'm belching. And sometimes it just happens - I'd be sitting there on the sofa locked inside my head and I would just tear-up for no known reason. Some people even think that I'm emotional and weak, which is false. Now stop worrying about such, there are people dying of AIDS!
