Is it normal for your dreams to come true in some ways?

I had a dream about my tooth cracking and in my dream my sister touched it and it fell out. The next day we went to a greek resteraunt and i told her about the dream, she said " the greek meaning for your dream is someone is going to die ". The next morning we got the news that my sisters friend from high school passed away from a drug overdose. I got creeped out that we happened to be at a greek resteraunt and that was the greek meaning for my dream and that someone we both knew died, this wasnt the first time something like that happened.
