Is it normal for women to use female privelage in career advancement?

in my studies and thinking about career advancement and equality i became curious how many women use the power of female persuasion in the workforce. im not here to jump on anyone. just curious. you know like extra batting of the eye, showing a little leg, there are many forms of this kind of thing.some say its devine right of passage others don't think so much the same thing.

sometimes not all though 5

I don't think it's a female-only thing. Men and women both use non-verbal communication consciously and unconsciously to manipulate people in all aspects of their lives.

      True.
As a guy I had way less troubles with female bosses and teachers. It works both ways.
But I don't think it's a "power" one chooses to use. Of course a woman can try to be slutty at work but in most cases that will backfire. However if your superior feels an emotional connection to you (doesen't even have to be sexual) you'll have an advantage.

I'm not talking about anything specific but I guess I mean the persuasion before actual sex is involved

No just exploring concepts people deal with. Its a common practice for me as a occasional writer.

Do you really want to advance your career that way? Would you be comfortable working with people who knew you had gotten your position that way, or rather they respected you for your abilities and intelligence?
If the only thing that matters to you is money and position, then go for it, but then don't come back here complaining how you get no respect from your coworkers.
