Is it normal for women to shave their arms?

My girlfriend has hairy arms, legs and a very hairy face. It doesn't bother me cos Dave and I love each other.

I have light arm hair, but it's kind of long. I don't mind it at all :)
I know a few people who shave their arms and I know loads of women do - so it's normal in that sense - but think, it's weird; it's just another sign that females are getting too self conscious about their /natural/ beauty. The girl I know who does it is only 12!
When you shave your arms, they get prickly, which is not good when it's the place people are most likely to touch. Ouch!

I knew of some when I was in high school that shaved their arms. It seemed rather bazaar to me. I shave lots of places on my body but the hair on my arms is like the hair on my head--meant to be there.

I don't shave because I accept this is my natural hair. I realize I'm beautiful the way I am. And in no way does it make me 'manly' just because I don't have smooth arms. I don't think shaving your arms is normal or not. It's just not natural is all.

hahaha that is really dumb, your soft light arm hair will soon be replaced by thick dark uneven hairs that go up to your rist. HAHAHA

I only shave my underarms for special occasions. Shaving is ridiculous and waxing is just as bad. Why get rid of natural hair? As long as it's not like The Wolfman or something crazy, why does it matter???

i did it once but dont bother now-they are fair on my arms so it doesnt really matter

yes i do.. im not sure why because i have blonde hair almost white on my arms. i just didnt like knowing it was there haha. a lot of ppl shave their arms though.

It doesn't look nice if a woman has hairy hands (in my opinion).

My wife doesn't grow under arm hair but if one shows up I usually grab it with my teeth and pull it out when I lick her underarms

But a woman with a lot of arm hair hmmmmmmmmm I've never dated one.

Never occurred to me to shave my arms.

If you are a girl, I would not care. But if you are a boy, you would probably be picked on a lot.

I don't do it but it's normal, though it depends on how much hair you have on your arms, I don't se the point if it's not even that noticable. But their are some girls that their hair is supper dark and theirs a lot of it.

I do, I think its funny when ppl are suprised. I don't see the diff between shaving a leg or arm. And my hair doesn't grow back prickly, its soft, I just have dark arm hair and think its ugly.

I don't shave my arms. I have dark hair and it used to be noticeable, but now I use an epilator on them every few weeks or so and when the hair does grow back, its less noticeable and doesn't look shaved. Painful at times, but less messy and time consuming than taking the time to wax.

Sucks and gives me a rash every fucking time..ugh

I do, but I don't know anyone who does. I started this year 'cause I thought I was just too hairy.

I do and I know a lot of people who do. It all started in middle school when I saw girls doing it.
