Is it normal for women to have light facial hair?

Lately, I have noticed that I have short, fine, whitish blonde facial hair on the sides of my temples and cheeks. It's not visible unless I stand under a very bright light and look at a certain angle. Is it normal for a female to have this, or should I see a doctor? I didn't really notice this problem until I started some new birth control, and am wondering if I should switch...

Absolutely normal and nothing at all to worry about. It'd probably be odd not to have it (or not to have it naturally). Often it's unnoticeable apart from, as you say, in bright light.

My personal opinion is that it's really cute.

Very normal. I just wax it but saving up for lazer treatment zaps it at the root so don't grow back. Don't be ashamed i'm not :)

Thank you all for your help and for reassuring me that I'm not a total freak. :) In my case, I think the hair might be due to some OTC medication I'm using, so I have stopped using it and will see what happens.
