Is it normal for women to cry on bathroom floors?

My friend and I were talking about the strange things women do - we had quite a list - and concluded that by far the wierdest was their penchant for crying in bathrooms. Why do they go there? And why do they lie on the floor in a foetal position when they do it? We thought it might be because it's the room that locks but they don't lock it. If they did we wouldn't even know they did it but we've seen them - 25 to 30 of them between us. They especially do it when they're drunk but being sober doesn't stop them, they just do it less often. It's like we've just discovered a secret feminine ritual, as mysterious as lay lines or the whereabouts of Amelia Earhart. Do they all do it which would make it normal or are my friend and I at the centre of a microcosm of freakish women?

    Ok, I understand rushing to a bathroom stall to anonymously cry... but fetal position on the nasty bathroom floors?

    Hehe. Thanks Banana. I genuinely don't know if you're the exception or the rule. Hopefully enough people'll vote or reply to get close to an answer.

    I have never done this before. I didn't know women were known to do this, haha. I only do that when I'm about to vomit. The cold floor feels nice. And lying on hard surfaces is just nice for me. But even then I usually don't go into a foetal position.:S How strange.

    I'm not sure how common this is. I've never heard of people doing this before, though. Maybe they're all trying to be dramatic or something, like they're in a movie, haha. Ok, that's the stupidest reason, but I can't think of another one. Maybe they get like I do when I'm about to vomit?
