Is it normal for vomit to be a white/clear colour

The other day i felt sick and started to vomit but it was a white/clear sort of colour. It had never happened before to me so is it 'normal'?

    If all you've had beforehand is water... Yeah. Real bile is actually yellowish. Source: morning sickness. Yuck!

    Yeah, you need to eat more. It might even be why you threw up

    It's normal if you did not have anything to eat recently. When there is nothing in your stomach and you throw up, you're throwing up whatever is left in your stomach, like bile. That's what my mom told me one time...
