Is it normal for urine to have blood...

I'm a girl and today I noticed that when I urinate, it seems to have some blood in the mixture. I finished my period about a week ago and I'm quite sure the blood isn't coming from there. I tend to get bladder infections, though I haven't had one in years. I noticed that it does sting when I urinate. Also, I recently lost my virginity and some idiot told me that if after I have sex (not the first time but any time) if I begin to bleed afterwards, I may have gotten pregnant. I'm fairly young so a child defiantly wouldn't be an option. I don't think I should consult my parents about this considering they don't know I'm sexually active and I plan on keeping it that way. I was just wondering if this is common or if I should consult a doctor or take a pregnancy test or something. And please don't rant about how that if I'm young why should I be on here. I just need help because I'm really worried.

Well I'm pretty sure if you're pregnant and bleeding it means something is wrong, but don't take my word for it. Some women do get their period when they're preggo or get spotting, but if it's burning when you pee it sounds like a bladder infection.

Some women get implantation spotting, a small amount of blood like a light period upon implantation. It doesn't continue for long, though, and I don't think it's usually very much blood.

If you are a man its a sign of prostate cancer. If you are a women its a sign of your period or that you lost the baby.

Blood on your urine , stinging when peeing and a history of bladder infection is a very big red flag that you have a bladder infection.

Well I was told that there should be trace amounts of blood in urine, but if it's excessive then there could be a problem.
Talk to your doctor, they'll probably send you to a urologist. Don't be alarmed but your doctor will surely test your urine and one of those tests will be a pregnancy test.

I woke up one morning and started pissing thick blood. I freaked out and went straight to emergency. There was no pain, but it was a UTI, got the antibiotics and was fine. I really think that's what you'd have. Go to the doctor. If you're really concerned, you can get a pregnancy test, but I wouldn't imagine that you are pregnant.

There isn't one single reason why this could happen. I know it's scary but the reasons are often not that bad. You really do have to see a doctor, though. Just tell them what you told us.
