Is it normal for two male best friends to be this close?

If girls can be really close and not have anyone second guess it, than why can't guys? I'm glad you're comfortable with having company of the same sex. It's very cute and normal:) don't let anyone tell you otherwise:)

YES, it is VERY VERY NORMAL. I do the exact same thing to my best friend, everyone kept teasing and saying that we're gay. But it's not... it's a bond that we made. We basically love each other(basically bromance). But we still talk about relationships and girls. We feel lonely without each other, honestly. We sleep on each other, we cuddle. I wouldn't give up my relationship/friendship for anything. Just remember that, don't let other's interrupt your friendship.

I have a relationship with my best friend just like you, I rub my friend's back, I fix his hair, I scratch his hair, we hug everyday, always take selfies, and put one arm around the other mostly in public places. Who can really say what is normal or not. My best friend and I have always shared a very close relationship without sex. I think I would be fine with exploring more with him as we already share anything and everything emotionally. However, as we get older he is less comfortable with the physical contact. I think most of this is due to his fear of being labeled as gay. I respect his feelings as our love and friendship is far more important than any physical contact. My advice to you is to cherish the relationship that you have. Both of you

Im 62 and I have two best friend, a marine who is 23 and a neighborhood kid who is 16 and I watched him grow up. I talk to both of my buddies every day, the 3 of us camp together, hunt together, hang out together. The teen stays with me when his parents travel, I take him to haircute, the doctor and school. He is like my own son/brother. When we hang out, we all crowd the couch to watch a game, or a scarey movie, in contact with each other, 16 falls asleep and drools on my shoulder. Ive taught him to fly airplanes, scuba dive, swim, shoot, and he just told me during a hug "thanks for teaching me how to be a man...". Guys bond close and hard and usually for life, its great to have someone to love, a special and deep love that doesnt involve sex, specially when the love is returned.

Is it normal? No, but that doesn't matter. What you have with your friend is really sweet and loving. It makes your whole entire world better to be so close to someone like that. Yes that is normal. Me and my buddy act the same way as you are. When going anywhere or doing anything, he is the first person that comes out of my mind. We always hang out, talk over the phone and even go to each other's house without him or me knowing. That's real friendship!
