Is it normal for two guys to let a girl walk home alone?

Well last night I was a my friends boyfriends 18th. I have know my freinds bf for ages. He said would drive me home as he live near me and his friend did to. He said he would drop me of at his friends which is like a only a ten minute walk to mine but it was late and I live in a really rough area so I was a bit nervous walking by myself. His friend asked if i was ok I said yes as I would feel cheeky saying no.I was grateful for him taking me most of the way. He could of dropped me off at my house it would'nt be going out of his way. Is this normal for a guy to let a girl walk alone in the dark?

    Maybe he thought if he left you with his friend, you two might get together.

    But no, if he was driving he should've left you home. This guy has no manners. Do not rely on this jack@ss again.

    Maybe he thought it was safe enough, even though you didn't. You should have said something if you didn't feel safe.

    Most guys insist on walking me places too, even though I don't always feel it's necessary I still go along with it - out of politeness and I enjoy the company.
