Is it normal for this white stuff?

So everyday when I finish work or get home from school or whatever I am doing during the day I go to the toilet and realized that there is some thick white gunk in my underwear (clearly it is from my vag). I have also noticed a white layer of gunk also on my tongue further towards my throat and it won't come off with scrubbing (ouchies). I googled it and came up with thrush. But is this normal? And I haven't told anyone about it or seen a doctor. Or got anything to treat it either. What the hell...
