Is it normal for me to think, dream about my ex? I don't have any feelings for her when I see her or anything, but I just get her in my mind often when I dream. I don't like her anymore either, but my friend has been dating her lately. I'm not sure what's going on, this has never happen to me before.
Dreams are more in the subconscious area. Basically, uncontrollable. She was in your life and technically kinda still around, which means she's in your memories. You're not going to be able to control your subconscious.
As you distance yourself from her, she'll eventually become less important in even your subconscious and therefore be out of your dreams.
Like MilleBornes said you cant really help your dreams we understand that you don't care for her anymore, I know its sometimes very difficult, but you need to get another girlfriend to take your mind off your ex-love.
