Is it normal for the skin on my toes to crack and bleed?

My feet tend to dry up from time to time, but recently one of my toes got cracks and one of them turned into a painful cut. I wiggled my toes slightly when I was in bed and it started bleeding.

How do I deal with it and how do I prevent it from happening again? I really need to get rid of the dry and dead pileup of skin.

    Go to the doctor.

  • Put some skin cream on them in the morning, it will cause less friction and prevent calluses.

above post is good. If you like you can mix sugar and butter together (it should feel gritty) and rub this into your feet at night. wear socks of course. This is also good for hands that are dirty, ingrained dirt that soap will not shift. It works if you keep at it

Sounds like a callus. Moisturize before putting socks on for the day. Moisturize again before bed (and wear socks at night).

The PedEgg is a wonderful invention, and there are others to alleviate nuisance of it all.

Ask your doctor about a podiatrist.
