Is it normal for teens to go partying without under garments on

While speaking with a group of parents this became part of the conversation and worry for a number of them: is it a temptation after a few drinks to lose their self respect Parents don't seem to have a say how they dress

I've never gone out in public with out underwear, especially at a young age like that. Some times I can understand if you're a girl and you want to go without a bra because your shirt already has a built in bra and you don't want your bra straps to show. But no underwear is kind of gross.

ah yes too your protecting yourself is exactly as you say but to say teens who go out with underwear is gross makes you of a certain generation in your thinking: but you make a good point a shirt with a built in bra: Your age now I have to be careful especially if your female Daily I am aware many adults go without bra's and boobs have their own beauty: so at least with underwear bottoms are still covered to a degree. so gross might be to strong to discribe teens etc

I'm only 22..I think its gross because a lot of girls that go with out underwear wear dresses and they sit down on furniture or the ground.. not to mention when you're a girl you can have a bunch of bacteria going up there and causes infection. Also guys don't understand that vagina's are regularly self cleaning, so we get discharge in our underwear and to think of getting that on your clothes just kind of grosses me out a bit.

a timely warning to all female teens and surely a possible education to the male in all you say: wear your underwear but then a small percent of teens are into underage sex big time so behaving like this is quite abnormal loose tracksuitbottoms with out undies seems to be in with a small percent of our teens too but your sharing is good

To be perfectly clear: I do think it's totally normal for girls to wear formal dresses and evening gowns or prom dresses without underwear

Like, tons and tons of girls I know do. It wear underwear with prom dresses

As for other occasions - I think it's maybe on a case by case or person by person basis - some don't, some do.

Obviously they arent going to parties to drink because they are under age.
So , I wonder what kind of parties they are.
    HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMM
Could it be sex parties ????
    Just a wild guess.
Tell me if I'm way off base.
    But I don't think so.

My understanding is they go out the door with their undies on and then in a quite spot pull them off so when they meet their mates they are all free of them: So their parents think they are good two shoes now when they get home I am sure there parents don't inspect them as they say good night fairly quickly: your point is valid though: Now about worrying about the stupidest things ah sure this a parents pre-ogative really

I think it's abnormal and skanky. I would wonder if they'd been molested or turned out by someone.

yes, I am inclined to agree with you but the world we live in is not perfect and for the small percent of teens who trust themselves enough to go without their undies to party it is very normal: I believe the majority of our teens are very normal in their maturing and growing: they heed and respect their parents or guardians: They choose their friends wisely: so the ones who do go to parties are with wearing undies I am sure look out for each other and who is to say they don't carry their undies in their bag or pockets to wear should they see a danger: No Teenagers are very responsible in their behaviour: their are a number of teens wearing their under garments who have been molested or turned out by someone: thanks

There's no logical reason to go commando, especially when one takes into account the present obsession with removing pubic hair unless of course it's the person's intention to flash people. I cannot in good conscious respect a person who thinks it's acceptable to flash their genitals at random people, or anyone for that matter, public.

We're talking about responsible thinking teenagers here who have regard and respect for each other when they go partying without there undies I don't they do so to flass their genitals or anything of the likes Older people are more apt to randomly flash so it is not a teen thing but your sharing is valid

grow up to being a mature thinking wonderful human being respecting your own beautiful anatomy: you might be one of a kind who value such behaviour in a percent of teens who like fresh air to their naughties as they go out to party

Children under 18 are children whether they think so or not. It is a parents' responsibility to set rules and limits which the children must obey. If they do not obey, they must be punished and shown that they are NOT the one in charge.
In this case a dress code must be enforced or a punishment will be brought; say no phone for a week or two. Whatever works. It is absolutely criminal if a parent cannot control their child, then they must be held responsible, period.

how right you are but what planet are you living in: while family life is still 75% good, wonderful normal and parents relate and communicate with their children to the best of their ability: never the less the parents in conversation with me felt they were too but their children were silent when it came to this behaviour: It is a fact of life: Teens still do value and respect themselves so going without their undies is ok but carries a big challenge to protect and be safe even when alcohol/drugs are part of the scene: I don't under-estimate the majority of teens at all but your reply is somewhat nieve but right in content
