Is it normal for suburban kids to be so annoying these days?

We live in a suburban neighbourhood with lots of school-aged kids around. We are in a semi-detached house and share a driveway with our neighbour. We have a 7 year old son who is friends with a number of these kids.

Now I have seen these kids riding their bikes on our driveway, which I'm ok with if they are playing with our kid, but that's not always the case. Sometimes they'll ride onto the grass I have even seen kids leave their abandoned bikes on our driveway, which is really annoying when I'm returning home.

First off, do parents not teach their kids boundaries any more? We never did this shit when we were kids. Second, is it normal for me to entertain the idea of picking up their bikes and literally throwing them off my driveway into the street to teach them not to leave their crap lying around? I don't want to be the neighbourhood jerk, but my property is still my property. I have been the crotchety guy yelling at the little rats to get off my lawn already. :)

Unfortunately it has become very normal for suburban kids to be inconsiderate little bastards. Furthermore, it has become normal for parents to completely ignore teaching simple fundamentals of common courtesy to their children. Sorry about your neighbors.

Parents who are too busy trying to make money to just afford the basics in a decent setting these days to pay any attention to their kids. Therefore only the crut on tv these days teaches them how to behave.
Without being cared for or taught to act properly kids won't behave.

I teach middle school and for some reason a lot of these kids are lacking boundaries. I am 31 years old and when I was in middle school I never dared go into a neighbor's yard, much less leave my bike in their driveway! I did this ONCE when I was 5 and my dad chewed me out big time for it.
Unfortunately, nowadays, I don't think parents are much aware of boundaries with their kids. If I'm not careful, my students will be into my desk, using my markers, pens or pencils, they will go into my cell phone, they will want to store their stuff in the same places I store my stuff...the list is never ending. It's like in this day and age, there is almost no difference between an adult and a kid. It seems like a lot of the parents I meet want to be their kids' friend rather than a parent. That is sad.

I'm a kid, but I'm more...Mature than others, I do agree, it is annoying when your son/friend has other friends who do annoying stuff such as leave bikes in a driveway/hallway so you either, trip up and hurt yourself or end up ramming into a bike and paying for it a week later in court. So yes, it is normal.
