My friend, a very straight girl, came to my house last week. Im a very bi girl (more specifically, pansexual). She always tells me that we are like sisters and that she will never love me as anything more. But that night, after she had put my lip ring in her own lip, i could'nt stop looking at her lips. Something came over me and i kissed her. I expected her to slap me or something but no. She kissed back. And she has a boyfriend. Was it normal for a straight girl to do that?

    It's stories like this which convince me that i'll never understand women.

    However, i think that society tolerates female-female intimacy more than male-male intimacy, so she felt comfortable in giving you a friendly kiss.

    No it's not normal for someone who is straight to kiss another of the same sex. Being straight means you like the opposite gender sexually and romantically. If you do kiss one of the same gender and you are "straight" that means your an attention seeking slut at a party or not straight at all.

    Very normal.. But I think the sisters part is her trying to tell herself she doesnt want you in that way, you should talk to her about it.. She might have just done it to see what it would be like but she may have liked it. Ask. That's all you can do
