Is it normal for stepmother to be younger then the daughter?

Today i found out that my friends stepmother is younger then her (in about 7 years). is it normal for a man to marry a woman younger then his daughter??? i am just thinking that when the daughter was born the wife/ stepmother wasnt even born.
what would you guys think if your stepmother was younger then you?

    I not going to preach but an uncle of mine remarried after his wife my auntie passed away he has 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren his daughters are 46 and 49 and his new wife is 25yrs old

    I don't think it's normal at all. The May/December thing is gross, and dysfunctional. I don't care if my opinion hurts or offends people, and I don't care what people think of me for voicing that opinion.

    no, that is not normal. Generally people tend to marry people within 10 years of each other. But, that doesn't mean it's bad or disgusting, if they're happy in their relationship, than good for them.
