Is it normal for step mothers to be suspicious and jealous?

So i have a stepmom who is not always but most of the time suspicious. And she becomes jealous very easily. If we go out shopping and dont bring her with us she,ll be upset the whole day, and even if we say you can come with, she say-no i dont want to anymore. She acts like a 10 year old girl. And there are time she is upset, and we ask her why and she is like i am not going to tell. And everything you say to her, she will use it against you. Dose anyone else stepmom do things like this.

    Yes and no. It doesn't really have anything to do with her being your step mother. It has to do with her being a suspicious and jealous person period. Some people are just like that, regardless of who they are and how they're related to others.

    it sounds like she feel's left out which shouldn't matter so much depending how many times per week she is left out of things . I think it's her nature , maybe try including her at least some times .
