Is it normal for someone to learn about death and lif at an early age?

I learned about life and death when i was like 4. i had raised a little grashopper till he was bigger (or captured it something like that) and i remember i opened my hands to let it go, it flew away, it was flying away and when it reached about 4-6 feet away from me a bird swooped down, plucked it out of the air and few away and i was curious about it and i believe i realized that the grasshopper fed the bird so that the bird could live; and that it had only witnessed 2 secs of freedom after a little child captored it from it's hoome....So is it normal to learn about life n death at htis early of an age?

I think it's fine, as long as the subject isn't gone deep into. You wouldn't want to scare a four year old and scar them resulting them being always scared of death or something.

I don't think a child that young would grasp the concept. Right now my daughter can't understand why her Sockies went to live with Jesus and won't be coming home.

Yes it is for some, but I think a 4year old wouldn't really grasp the concept of dead properly
