i can feel for you, i know someone like you. I would highly suggest that you get a good professional help in dealing with what is that is makeing you partake in this self defeating behavior.
what is happening is that you are lying so that people will accept you without the risk of them knowing the real you, if they reject you, they are rejecting the package of lies you have told them, not the you inside. But, they find out that you lied to them, so they reject you anyway, a self fulfilled prophecy.
For you to partake in this behavior, it shows that you have been deeply wounded by someones rejection, and it was a very serious rejection (mother or father). Do yourself a great good and get help for it, or you will never realy find the closeness and acceptance you long for.

Lying isn't good

You're a pathological liar, no wonder nobody likes you. Interpersonal relationships are built on credibility and trust. Lying obviously paints you in a negative light, and believe me, it catches up to you.

Get the help you need.

If you know you've just lied automatically, why not say, "Only joking!" so you can correct yourself right away. There is absolutely nothing worse than a liar.

Those are two signs of Anti-social Personality Disorder (one is the lying, the other is the inability to keep friends long term). Could be that? Get tested for it if you think it might help. Alternatively, you might just be an interovert, who also lies a lot. Could be normal, could be not.

Just stop lying then. It just makes you shady and people don't want a friend they don't even know.
