Is it normal for smokers not to enjoy drinks without smoking?

First of all I smoke one pack a day, sometimes less but no more.
The problem is that now I can't enjoy my coffee unless it was coupled with a smoke, I even can't remember the last time I drank coffee or any soft drink (especially energy drinks) without smoking.
Is this normal?

Now obviously this question is for smokers only, if you comment here and your not a smoker then you must be here because you want to tell me that smoking is bad for my health and the people around me, if that's the case FUCK OFF!! I already know that because there is a sticker on my cigarette pack with a picture of a dead man.

Depends for me. I was smoking a half a pack a day and I'm trying to quit right now, mostly because my vocal range is suffering.

Coffee and alcohol always make me want cigarettes. I was hooked on the morning coffee and cigarette routine in college, sometimes if I was running late that would be my breakfast.

And I always wanna smoke when I'm drinking, the two just go so well together. Plus the social aspect.

Well, were all different. Sometimes it just sounds nice together. Other times its nicer just to relax espically if smoking isn't allowed wherever your at. Just depends on YOU! I smoke all the time haha

When I started smoking, I couldn't smoke without a drink! It was something about it that made it so relaxing.

Most people I know have cigaros with their coffee, personally now I only smoke when I'm pissed and before that I always preferred my cigarettes on their own.

Cigarettes are pretty lovely, just don't do too many at once, as you won't really want to move and feel extremely light-headed. Anyways, coffee with a nice cigarette is a good thing, so I claim this normal.

I only feel light headed if I smoked on an empty stomach.

I'm the exact same way. Caffeine and Nicotine attach to the same receptors in your brain, so it's kind of natural for this taste to develop.
I'm actually drinking coffee and having a cigarette at this moment.

Depends on the person - normal for some, not others.

A former smoker can eventually enjoy a drink without a smoke, and vice versa.
However, smokers who drink smoke more often when drinking, because alcohol speeds up metabolism & excretion of nicotine.

By drink I didn't mean alcohol, I meant things like coffee, sofft drinks, energy drinks. I never tasted alcohol in my life.
