Is it normal for people to front all the time?

How exactly does this mean we have no survival tactics? Wouldn't pretending to be something that would help us gain the things we want count as having a good survival tactic?

Nothing is quite what it seems. I used to say the world would be better if everyone was entirely honest, i.e.

A bully saying: I'm hitting you in the face because I think you're really pretty and I jealous and my father raped my when I was 10 and I'm still angry about that and need an outlet.

A TV advert saying: You don't really need this product and we don't care what happens to you the moment after the transaction clears. We only pretended to care because we want your money. If we could legally pickpocket you, we wouldn't bother with all this advertising crap.

A lover saying: Of course I look at other people. Yes, I fantasise about them sometimes and I lie and pretend I don't because it makes you insecure and then you get onto me about it. When you catch me lying or watching porn when I said I wouldn't, it makes you think I am lying about the bigger things. The said thing is, I wasn't.

The problem is, in a perfect world of entirely honest people, the lying man is king. Heh, the Lyin' King!

Thats becuase scociety says we have to be so infact this is a method of avioding detection , like if someone is very perverted but thier presseured by thier family or parents and pushed that any form of sex or sexuel thought is bad they will repress it becuase of guilt or pressure when infact they want to let it out but they can not . If someone is instictivley ill like a rapist they are not gonna tell anyone becuase they know they are gonna stop , if someone hates you and wants to kill you tehy will not say its becuase it is a threat and if someone loves someone else they may not say it becuase they may be humiliated or otherwise if the person does not return their regaurds . So its simple infact we are put under pressure not to do things , even the simpliest things are regarded as ill or wrong in many cultures , sex for one is a highly revired subject that if given high importance but at the same high displinary thoughts as in you must not if * your not married * your this age * its the same gender ECS . which in alot of cases these rules make sense or most of them make sense . Like dont have sex before marriage becuase its more respectful to yourself and your not leaving babys everywere that are unwanted or this assure the other is less likely to leave you . some say not till a certien age this assures their more chance youll be able to support the child and you are pychiclly and mentelly mature enough to give birth , have sex and have a child. so That awsner is simply that . Pressure ,apperence and Restrictions . Depending on the land and cultures their is diffrent restrictions and in diffrent households and religions thier is diffrent restrictions . now I am not saying rape or killing is correct it most certeienly is not , but thats why infact we have that restriction in most cultures and religous beliefs becuase we know this act is wrong so we add a restriction and laws are based on what we think should be restrictions . so they so , dont rape dont kill that is bad ( loggicly that is very bad right ? ) but inside a household in a smaller scale thier is other restrictions like Dont marry outside our race , or only marry within our religion . some may also think that any form of diffrence or creativity is evil sick or wrong , sometimes this may be correct depending on the case not always however . but those are debatable restrictions to genrel world wide restrictions like the harming other laws . Pretty simple right?. So even if their lieing its becuase they have to and think about this thier is some things that should be exceptable and normol like desiere to have sex which are totolly frowned apon in alot of cultures think about this what if you had a child who said they were into S n M or was even sexuelly thinking ablout it , alot of parents would say you sick your a freak and we hate you , when infact this is debatable as to weather its a illness the parents just dont want their child thinking about sex of any sort becuase it is their child even though at any age on their own this be viewed as ow well thats just thier chioce it may be frowned apon but its just thought of maostly as diffrent kind of sex , so is this bad

We may all have those qualities, and some of us prefer to bottle them up, but that doesn't make every single human being a terrible person.

Not everybody is "perverted greedy hedonistic and full of shit" though. Maybe you have just had experiences with bad people. There are good people in the world, maybe even some on this very sight, you just have to find them!

A lot of people who front, don't know they are doing it. And while some people are assholes, don't let it prevent you from seeing the good in people. There are genuinely good people out there, maybe you caught them on a bad day.

The world isn't perfect. Of course it's normal for people to act that way. Yeah, the majority of it is fake, but I'd much rather it be that way then everybody just being assholes all the time. You sound a little cynical to me.
