Is it normal for people to cry from music?

While driving with my buddy for a road trip, we saw a gorgeous asian/white (I know for sure that face is mixed) lady in a Mercedes Benz convertible smoking and driving with leather gloves and somewhat loud old fashioned music on. Embarrassingly we were curious and tried to keep up with her but this song came on then after a minute or two, she started to cry. It was so...odd. It has been years since then but I'm still somewhat bothered by it.

Is it normal for people to suddenly tear up from music? Or a specific song?

I enjoyed that. 'The king of rock and roll' did make my eyes water, though.

Do you remember what the song sounded like? Any defining lyrics? And yes, that woman you described does sound like she would be beautiful.

Your experience would look awesome as a video or in a movie.

I'm not going to lie, the first time I listened to the hospice by the antlers I finished listening, went to my room and balled my eyes out.
I'd never done it before and I've not since but it is as if someone took things from my past and put it in an album, if I could write music ( that's good) it would be that album, still personal to me

Of course. Art is the thing that makes me well up more than anything else.

This reminds me of when my dad was crying after a Patsy Cline song came on the radio cause it reminded us of my mom and it was right after she left. ='(
