Well, i have a amazing best friend, we have been friends science primary school.And for quite a while now, every calls us lesbians, can anyone help to stop this.And don't say to tell someone because i would find it to awkward :[
I don't understand the post really, you didn't actually say if you do or don't have feelings for your friend. I'm guessing you don't and are straight? Then the answer is to try and shrug it off. If you have an awesome friendship, no amount of harsh words can touch that. I find that humor often diffuses those sorts of things - personally I would be like "Lesbians? Hell yeah. We bone all the time. Give me $500 and I'll let you watch." just to catch them off guard.
I get that sometimes, it embarrasses me and makes me rethink my own sexuality because I do like her, just probably not in that way and my best friend is homophobic so we can't pretend like we really are or anything. We usually just deny it(which doesn't work). She recently got in a relationship, though, so it will probably stop :P
My best friend and I in high school constantly got accused of being bi or lesbian with one another. So we started acting like we really were in public and people stopped. They went "Oh they're just playing". Not saying you should do that, but it worked for us.
Maybe they are hoping that you guys actually ARE lesbians and by telling you so, you guys will realize it and fuck in front of them and it will turn into a hot lesbian three-way like you see in all of the great pornos.
Just a thought.
They do it to me and my best friend, and she went 'oh yeah we're getting married soon' totally shocked them!:D
People call me and my sister lesbians just because we are together all the time and look nothing alike. It's kind of annoying.
