Is it normal for people to act differently with their friends?

For example if my boyfriend seems to act differently with his friends than with me. I think I act differently with my friends too. Not completely two-faced, but just different! We do different things, talk about other stuff, etc. sometimes I feel like his friends see a side of him that I never get to.

    People act different around others cause they adjust to fit in with their peers theyre with or to relate. We all do it to some level.

    I do the same thing. Some people just can't always handle certain aspects of our personalities, so we tend to show them only bits and pieces of what we know will keep them around.
