Is it normal for partner to cheat and stay in contact with them?

If partner cheated on you and you two stay together, is there any reason they should have ANY contact with the person they cheated on you with?

Assume leaving isn't a choice and there is no contact between them that is required, such as a coworker.

    Where's the option for dumping the cheater? I would dump the cheater... problem solved.

    Hello no! Once they cheat with that person its been established that other person can not be trusted. So get rid of the homewrecker!

    No. They cheated. You trusted them and they hurt that trust. On a side note I would never get back with someone that didn't respect me or themselves enough to break it off first.
