Is it normal for overly clickbaity titles to annoy you?

What I mean are those videos with titles that sound like Doge, like "Wow Unbelievable Footage You'll Be Amazed How Can You Not Like Wow!!!!!" or "This is so sad how tragic you will cry for sure". The utter lack of informality, lack of grammar and poor punctuation irks me. Not really annoy, but it strikes me in a similar manner as a stereotypial rich upper class man from the 1800's listening to a teenage gangster today speak.

lol. I remember seeing those weight loss and anti-aging click bait advertisements on my iPod. The before and after pics didn't even match half the time. XD

I hate the ones that are all like "This man sticks orange peels up his ass for three days...what happens next will amaze you!"

What I hate is when you click its 20 minute long video, you cant fast forward two and 16 minutes of it is just explanation about why you want to know this information. Which they dont go over till the last 4 minutes of the video. That is BS!

I like the ones that are "[something] on live TV" when half the time they meant 'national TV'. But Seriously you can search anything funny and put "on live TV" afterwards and most likely something misleading will come up... Also funny when they put that someone "dies" when actually they just fell down or something but then end the video before the person gets up again

The video title that irks me is "Try not to laugh. ( Hardest) Impossible challenge". In the end, the uploader get "boo'ed" because it's not actually funny. This pretty much the same annoyance like you mentioned in the post.

One can easily avoid watching these MUST WATCH!!! videos. Worse is realising that the title of the video you are watching doesn't match up with the content because the uploader is a deceitful bastard/bitch, well, bastard in my experience.

haha I avoid them now. I clicked on them a couple of times and found them to be the very definition of an anticlimax.

I hate it when my favorite entertainment sites use clickbait titles. On Cracked.com they like to throw around things like "mind-blowing", "terrifying", "Ways that ______ is Doomed", etc. And what makes me even angrier is that pretty much their entire roster of original columnists have been replaced by people who aren't even half as funny.
