Is it normal for one eye to spontaniously start to tear?

I do not have any known allergies but my eye will randomly start to cry in the middle of math class and then later while im on the bus. It is only ONE eye that tears but it is kinda embarising because ir ead while on the bus and it lookis like im crying from something that is happening on the bus. I played xbox for about 5 hours the nigh before. Could this be the problem? Or is it normal for your eye to start discharging tears?

    I get that.. One if your eye is weaker then the other and you put too much pressure on it by forcing it to stare continuously. Try taking a break and looking around or at other things for a bit when it starts to tear up
