Is it normal for older people ( 40 and above) to smoke weed

I occasionally smoke weed and don't see a problem as most of my friends ( mid 20's) but it's still strange that people in their mid 40's or 50's are still toking up. It shouldn't be since people my parent's age were the ones who smoked weed in the 1960's and 1970's but somehow it. Especially if you see them as older responsible people who are church going and have families. To me it really shows how much we've been lied to when it comes to dope. I mean if responsible citizens can smoke weed and maintain their family and work lives than how can it be so bad?

    I think that stereotype - only young people smoke weed - is because younger people are more flamboyant about it and therefore get noticed for it more. It's the same with booze.

    Plus, it's been my experience, that the people who are "anti-marijuana" are not always open to the truth about marijuana, so the stereotypes will live on.

    When I started smoking I noticed the same thing, like how so many people maintain perfectly productive lives while smoking. It's just like drinking, just healthier and illegal. I don't even smoke anymore but I hope when I'm older I'll have the opportunity to legally use it whether or not I want to or not.

    not that crazy of a girl huh? but yeah its completly normal, the old guys paved the way for marijuana culture. cheech and chong ring a bell? and yeah I know alot of young kids will grow a plant, but who do you think is operating the big operations? older gentleman, doesn't matter the ethnicity.

    Normal? Yes. Healthy? No. I'm sure people of all ages use drugs, but I personally don't think anyone should.
