Is it normal for my young sister to ask for sex toys?

Okay so heres the thing. My sister is only 13 about to be 14 in a couple months and I asked her what she wanted for her birthday.
She surprised me by asking me if I could get her a sybian(I didnt even know what it was!! and Im 21!) or else a dildo and vibrator..

She asked me because she knows she cant ask anyone else. Now is it normal for a girl her age to have something like that, is it really any worse than masturbation.. Is there a good reason not to? I didn't have any toys at her age, I didn't even get my first dildo until a year ago.

But I also had no means of getting one like she does through me.

So would it be wrong for me to get something for her or not? The only negative side i personally think of is if my mom or dad found it.

    A Sybian, seriously? Those things cost over a thousand dollars. Unless your family is filthy rich or something, that's not a normal birthday request. I vibrator on the other hand would be pretty normal.

    My mom caught me jacking off when I was 14. For Christmas that year she gave me a present and said, "Don't open this here. take it to your room." It was the old school equivalent of a fleshlight. When my girl cousin was 12, her best friend bought her a vibrator. So is a girl that "young" asking for a toy normal? Yes.

    Parents are people also; they have feelings, memories, and sex. /gasp Unless your parents are hardcore conservative (prudish) people, even if they find a vibrator I doubt they'd do anything rash. Most parents would just ignore they saw it. In todays internet connected world, its quite common for people over 10 to be interested in sex.

    (My current girlfriend wants to buy her 11 and 12 year olds some toys) She has always been open with them, and feels that if she provides information and that sort of..."entertainment" they won't go seeking it out from dangerous sources. Like strangers. Or household objects.

    i wouldn't have much an issue explaining it if she were 16, which is why I am waiting. I understand at that age I was curious too about stuff like that. However 13/14 is just too young i will agree after reading above responses.

    Well I took advice here and went ahead and consulted her about it and agreed that when she is 16 I will consider it, however I do not want to be the one to buy something like that for her while shes this young if my parents would find it and found out I bought it. I will feel better giving her such gifts at 16 as it is when many of my friends first started to have them.

      Do the next best thing and buy her 2 electric toothbrushes! I survived for 3 years with them and if you get the ones with the spare heads u can cut the bristles off and get the tip in on you're g-spot. Also u can get these hand massagers from Avon that plug into the USB on the computer. I've had a few and u can get them on different shapes and sizes so with a condom u can get them inside u.
