Is it normal for my sister to have an obsession with a cartoon teen?

My little sister is 14, and she is OBSESSED with this cartoon, the inspector gadget reboot. She actually has a crush on one of the characters, Talon (A teen villain from the show). Once, I walked in on her making out with the TV, when he was on the screen. I just kinda stared for a sec,and quickly walked out. And well.. Ok, and I know this might seem a bit wrong... but I looked on her laptop computer history (She doesn't know that though) and she was reading like TONS of fan-fiction on him. And she has pictures of him saved on the her computer with little Photoshop hearts and stuff. Is that even healthy for her? He's a cartoon!!! Should I confront my sister with this? And most of all, is this normal for someone her age?...
