Is it normal for my sister to be so concerned about what i think?

What views I hold about things are more important to my sister than they probably should be. For example, she was once dating a guy she really liked, but she found out I disliked him. The next day, she broke up with him. Now she tries to find out what I think about guys she likes before she tries to go anywhere with them- she thinks she's subtle about it, but she really isn't. She tries to know what I think of everything from politics to music and always tries to match her opinion to mine. She sometimes tries to be interested and knowledgeable about the same hobbies I have. And so on. I know girls look up to their big brothers, and I think that's great. But she's 16 now and I think she might be too old to really be caring that much about what I think.

Hahaha! You should be happy, my brother would love it if I cared as much as your sister did. I still care about what he thinks though, just not as much as what you described.

This is more of a good thing. Little sisters tend to clash with there older brothers.

It really means she thinks you make good choices and wants to be on a level that you are on. It's called admiration.
