Is it normal for my right testicle to move up into my body during sex?

During sexual intercourse with my wife my
right testicle occasionally moves upward into my body.

When this occurs, the testicle in question feels like a hard lump beneath my skin of my lower abdomen.

To move it back to the correct position, it is necessary for me to push the 'lump' downward until the testicle reappears, and then apply pressure to the right hand side of my groin until the testicle moves back into my scrotum.

This usually happens when I am having sexual intercourse in the missionary position, but kneeling up slightly with my thighs spread quite wide apart.

Whilst this does not cause me pain, it does cause some discomfort and considerable concern. I have never heard of this happening to anyone else.

Is it normal? Is it possible to prevent it?

    I really don't know whether it's normal or not. It's possible for the testicles to retract, but I don't know what causes it. I think you should see a doctor.

      Thanks for your comment..I have only noticed it recently and the good news is that I do have a physical scheduled in early April...and I will make sure to mention this "issue"

    no its not normal its a little normal to have a little bit crocked balls but for it to go up into you thats not normal at allllllll

    Yes, I've knocked my balls upward before, but for me I would say it does cause considerable pain. Not emergency room type pain but definite soreness and discomfort.

    Anyways, it will drop back down on it's own.
