Is it normal for my penis to get even larger?

I'll just get right to it. Whenever my girlfriend and I start foreplay, and I get as hard as I can, I measure 6 1/2 inches long, and 5 1/4 around. However, after prolonged foreplay and/or sex (15+ minutes), and as I approach orgasm, my penis starts going wonky. As I get closer to finishing, my penis gets even bigger, even though it's already rock-hard. I got up to 7 inches long, and 5 1/2 around, once, just before I finished. Although my girlfriend and I enjoy this odd effect, it can be bothersome sometimes, like during oral. She has a less sensitive gag reflex than normal, but when I get bigger, we have to stop and let her adjust. When doing other things, it doesn't get so much in the way like that. I was wondering whether or not this happens to other guys?

    Mine gets bigger when I'm finishing, but not in the way you're talking about. It won't poke her in the throat. Right on man
