I wanted to know if it was normal for my mouth to get dry during sex? While I am performing oral sex everything is fine. I salivate more than usual while having oral sex, which is probably because I love it so much! As soon as I start having sex though my mouth begins to get really dry and I become increasing thirsty. While having cotton mouth my partner wants to kiss but I cannot bring myself to it because I feel like it will be so awkward. It is even more awkward and fucks with the mood when I grab a bottle of water and start chugging it because the thirst become unbearable. I know that I might be dehydrated during sex and probably putting in a lot of work too! Has this happened to anyone else?

    I think some anxiety might also be involved. In any case my boyfriend went on-line, learnt about grape seed oil and silica gels, which he takes a short while before we go at it, and seems to have helped him tremendously.

    It's normal since its a psychical activity. Drink liquids beforehand or try taking little breaks:)

    perhaps you should consider chugging the water first.

    keeping yourself well hydrated improves your sex life cos you have more fluids to use ;)

    well yeah some people do get dry mouth during really great excise (sex) it's a physical act and some people get dry mouth. mine gets a little dry when i'm on top lol but i don't need a drink XD it's normal.

    It happens. Water doesn't really cut it for me. I recommend something more viscous.
