Is it normal for my mom to be more childish than me?

My mom has no courtesy. She puts on a smile when dealing with others, but then when it comes to me she totally ruins it. If she offended someone with me as the scapegoat, she doesn't care. When I apologize to that person, SHE's offended. She acts like a child, acts like I'm always wrong, says I talk back, she's WAAYY smarter than me, and calls me names.

    not normal. but it is tiring and stressful. my mom is the same way, I feel like I'm her mom sometimes. *sigh*

    Not normal, but I can totally tell you that you're not the only one. My mom is the same way. She's bi-polar. Maybe yours is too?

    Mental maturity has nothing to do with age. It's common to see older people to act immature for their age. However, just because it's common, doesn't mean your Mom should be acting and treating you like that. She has to act her role and age-- as a mother and a model to you.
