Is it normal for my man to have such a close relationship with his mom

My man is 32 years old. We have been together for 5 years. He got fired from his job of 8 years when we first met due to DUI. Ever since then he has had 2 jobs which lasted a total of 5 months. He talks to his mom on phone and via text constantly. They have a shrine for him in their room. They tallk to him like he's a baby. They buy him whatever he wants. And he is the meanest most evil person I have ever met.

    I'm trying to work out which of you two is the biggest nutcase.

    You got with him when he lost his licence and stayed with him while he wasn't working?! He turns to his folks for money - and still you stay?!

    One of these days you are going to wake up and resent him for wasting so much of your life. Send him back where he belongs and find someone worthy of you!!

    Your "man." not your husband. That's your problem right there. 5 years and your not married? He sounds like a child. Get a real man
