Is it normal for my male doctor to tell me i have a beautiful vagina

I went to a new personal doctor, last week for a general visit, it included paps etc. Everything was fine till my doctor started looking at me with a flushed look on his face, i asked him what was the matter and he said nothing and started asking me about my sexual history. I started getting very worried and asked if something was wrong, he grinned and said everything was fine, and said he noticed i had a very beautiful vagina. I was stunned at first, but he played it off like it was a normal thing to say, I have to go back in two weeks for a follow up visit but i now feel uncomfortable. Is it normal to feel this way or am i over reacting

    If you do have a "beautiful vagina" then i think it was wrong for him to say so because thats basically hitting on you, but if you have a ugly scary floppy thing then it was ok for him to lie to you, maybe he was trying to make you feel better, lol.

    sounds like u should see a female doctor for these matters. if i was your bf id be a bit pissed to know a doctor said that you n id tell u to see a female doctor
    well u could always go back to him and maybe lead him on abit tell him it feels nice when he probs you and see if he advances on you and if he does let him and have sex with him hehe. then u can take him to court for all his moneys :)

    I wouldn't mind if he was a hot, young, yummy doctor;)Anyway, don't be too worried about it, I had a doctor who would say stuff that, but he didn't mean anything by it. Just act normal and if he says something again tell him that he's making you uncomfortable, or just get another doc.

    Depends what his intentions are if you came in because you had an question about being insecure about your vagina maybe it was normal. If you were there because you had an headache might nothave been the most appropriate thing to say.

    DOCTORS ARE CRAZY LIKE THAT! YOU HAVE TO BE CRAZY SOMETIMES TO BE A DOCTOR THEY SEE SO MANY AWFUL THINGS, CAR WRECKS VICTIMS, BURNED VICTIMS ETC ETC. MY DOCTOR TOLD ME I HAVE TO STOP EATING TACOS ie(A LITTLE RACIST) IM MEXICAN! BECAUSE OF MY RECENT WEIGHT GAIN..LOL.SO YEAH DOCTORS = CRAZY

    Maybe he was new on the job. So he might have been embarrassed of having to look at your down there. An older doctor would have probably done it many times so it would stop bothering them. His reaction I think shows he was embarrassed and probably didn't know how to react. I think he said that trying to assure you. This sounds like a teenage boy would react when accidentally walking into a girl changing. There has also been nurses/doctors who are new and broke the needle giving a blood text. New guys/gals don't always do perfect.
