Is it normal for my jaw to click when i eat?

When I eat food, my jaw clicks on the right side. Sometimes it also does it when I yawn, talk, brush my teeth and I can even make it click on my own if I move my mouth in the right direction. My mother and I both have the same problem. It's really embarrassing to eat in front of others and it sometimes happens even when I am making out with my boyfriend :/ is it normal to have this? Who could I go see about it?

That's been happening to me lately, and it freaks me out. It clicks on the left side when I yawn, and when I am eating, the right side pops and I can feel it moving oddly by the hinge

I got this problem. You obviously need to get a new boyfriend who also has a TMJ Disorder, that way you'll both click when you kiss.

You may have TMJ. My dad is a TMJ specialist and that's one of the consequences of TMJ -Syndrome?-. Lol google it. I would but i'm on my phone now

No that is very bad. I forgot what this is called but its associated with lock jaw. Go see your dentist you might also have a dislocated jaw.

Yeah, both mine and mums is quite loud though and our family points it out when we are eating together. They say it's annoying lol but we can't do anything about it :/

My jaw clicks too. And pops when I yawn usually. That's weird it never occurred to me that it's weird or something to be self conscious of haha. I've never had anyone point it out or notice it but me

My mom and I have the same problem. I've always chalked it up to having my wisdom teeth removed, because they had to do more work on the side where it clicks.
