Is it normal for my husnband to be mean after smoking weed?

Hello,

I have been married for 11 years. About 3 years ago my husband started smoking weed about once a week. At first I didn't mind because he was his "better self", nice, loving etc.
Now days every time he smokes he's really mean to me. I should mention that to other people his the nicest ever, but to me his mean, sarcastic, his putting me down by compering me to other people trying to prove how much I suck. When I won't listen to what he has to say he gets mad and won't talk to me for the rest of the day or few days.
When his "sober" we are just regular married couple, sometimes we fight but make up fairly fast.
Why is he like that?

    Have you tried talking to him about this when he's not stoned?

    I don't know why he's like that, unless he's using something else as well as the weed but that's not the issue: the issue is that he's treating you badly
