Is it normal for my husband to shower...

Only about once a week.
He also brushed his teeth about once a week as well.

"F**K that, this is the 21st century you neanderthal! You go get your ass in the tub dammit, RIGHT NOW!"

        Maybe a little.

The scenario popped into my head, and I couldn't help but share it :)

Yeah, I'm not really sure why I've been "*ing" them out lately, but I guess I just feel like I need to censor myself sometimes. I'll have to work on that some I think...

WTF?! Why in the hell do you put up with this fucking sick ass SHIT?! Grow a fucking pair of women balls and tell him to take better care of himself. Or better yet do it for him!

It's not my job to be his mother and tell him he needs to bathe, let alone take the time and make him do it. He gets the hint when I don't put out.

      • But he's your husband, wouldn't you prefer him clean and fresh?

I couldn't be with someone who didn't wash regularly but that's just me.

I do agree with you but men find a substitute for their mothers by marrying.

This is revolting - I don't know how you can bear the smell of him or his breath. Plus in the near future his teeth will all rot and he may up with dentures - not attractive. I don't know why his hygiene isn't habitual unless his mother never insisted either.

I doubt this marriage will last forever :( Yuck!!

Yes, I do realize this is true. And women want to marry a substitute for their fathers. Does this mean my father does not have any hygiene etiquette? No, quite the opposite.
              Sorry, getting sidetracked.
Yes as this does bother me, you feel that not taking a shower as often as "normal' people do will ruin a marriage?
How dare you say that. You do not know any of good qualities he possesses in order for you to make that accusation!
              Uncalled for.

This defines my husband. Lol. It's disgusting though. I'd be like 'if you wanna have sex with me, take a shower and brush yo teeth!'. Lol

Oh yes, I am at that stage! But also do it with a lot more other things including sex, it has been working out pretty well! Lol.

Tell him he needs to have better hygiene because of spontaneity.. If his body is not clean he can give you a terrible infection because of his lack of cleanliness. Sex and an unkempt unclean body is dangerous for you and him. Throw it out there like that, so he knows it's serious to clean for both of you.

Why the hell have you been putting up with this and why on earth would you even have to ask about the normality of this?!

There's something wrong with him doing this. It's fucking disgusting!!!! Give him a ultimatum. "It's either me or the bathtub. Now choose!!!!"

At first I thought it was either a strange phase or there were not enough hours in the day for him, but then I realized it was simply him getting "comfortable." At first I was understandable, but now it's me convincing him that if he wants me to cook him dinner or put out, he will have to take a shower first!

What do his coworkers think about Stinky, your hubby? Do they all scatter when he comes around?
What do your friends think about Stinky?

"comfortable"? Why suddenly change from cleaning yourself everyday to only once a week? Maybe, there's something wrong with him. Has he seen a therapist?

Mm. Maybe we should just calm down...therapy isn't the answer to everything. Lots of men are like this.
