It is normal. And while it's difficult to understand, it doesn't mean he doesn't absolutely love you. It's just difficult to fantasize about your wife when you're married. Maybe he didn't save your pictures because he didn't want any other guys looking at photos of his wife. When I was in the military, my wife sent me pics of her in a bikini.
