Is it normal for my husband to act this way?

So my husband does 3 things all day long. Plays video games. Cleans house and takes care of our dogs. He's really good at cleaning house and hes good in bed and he's very attractive. He's generally a nice person but has major mood swings and constantly says the world is against him and nothing will ever go his way.

He pays attention to me (affection) when he wants to have sex otherwise no. We have dogs who he constantly stops everything for strokes pets talks sweet to and I could be dolled up walking around naked and he'd laugh at me and say what are you doing and shake his head.

This evening I said (while one of our tiny dogs was between us again and he was petting her) honey I'd really like if you stroked me. (If your wife was naked next to you what do you think she wanted) he started rubbing me all over and making fun of me like I was a dog (he does this every time I try to tell him I feel neglected - he makes fun of me and I feel like a stupid ass and stop) and tonight I said you know honey that was a heartfelt request (after he chastised me for saying it) and he said he's tired of thinking all day long don't pet the dogs your wife will be jealous and I knew when I married him that he loved dogs and he was yelling and swearing and got up and slept on the couch and I said come back and get your dog !

I don't fight I'm not a complainer or a bitch at all but I've tried to gently be nice and say any wife would be putty in your hands if you treated them as nicely as you do your dogs. Said sweet things to them, stroked them, hugged and kissed them. His response is to mock me and talk to me like I'm a dog and make me feel like an asshole like everything is a joke!

I'm at the end of my rope. Wtf should I do! I'm tired of trying to be nice about it. I want to know I'm desirable and attractive to him and right now I'm just a fixture sitting behind him on the couch while he yucks it up all day wth his friends on his game and stops to love on the dogs or do some housework.

    Dump him yo anyone who wouldn't stop what they're doing When they see you walking around naked doesn't deserve someone who would do that anyway

    Wow, I'm sorry. Maybe you can train one of the dogs to piss on his video games? I feel for you, I really do. I guess I'm wondering if he was always like this.

    I guess I'm wondering if ya'll are both dog people or if it's just him? I also wonder if he's got his friends at your place all the time so he can play stupid video games with them? If I were in your shoes I'd certainly feel uncomfortable in my home if people were over all the time. I dunno. Does he work? Who is the main breadwinner? If he doesn't work, I'd want to kick him to the curb. I guess I'm just projecting my own beliefs.

    I also want to say that if you're actively jealous of the dog or dogs it will push him away.

    If it was me I'd want to leave him, especially if I didn't have any kids yet.

    My dad used to have a dog that got in the way of his relationship with my mom early on, so he took it out back, rubbed it's head, said daddy loves you, and then he shot it in the head.

    Problem solved.

        no it's a true story. My dad told me the dog always hated my mom, the final straw was when it shit on her side of the bed(smart dog , it only shit on her side).

        In retrospect, the dog had good intuition and was trying to warn him

            he tried that at first,but everytime he was about to give it away, the dog would stop acting up(again freaking smart dog), and whenever he tried to give it away,it would immediately be mean to the new people so he couldn't give it away. So he shot it.
